FIBERGLASS INSULATION
The effectiveness of fiberglass insulation is measured by its R-value, which stands for its resistance to the conductive flow of heat. Higher R-values result in a thicker panel and are available in varying thicknesses based on the size of the wall, subfloor or attic channels for which they are intended.
Since fiberglass insulation loses some of its R-value when compressed (i.e. between wallboards), bigger isn’t always better. At Panhandle Building Materials, we work with you to ensure you get the perfect fit and performance for your next project. We’ll make sure your home stays cool with the right insulation - at the right price.
